How to invest moneyI think one of the biggest challenges for a beginning investor learning how to invest money, is trying to sort through all the complicated terminology and learning the basics of how things like the stock market work. When I first started investing I didn't have a clue myself, so I tried to organize this site in a way that hopefully it will give people the basics they need to get started investing, but without information overload. So without further delay, if you're ready... Getting started If you are totally and completely new to investing, a good place to start is to get familiar with the basic different types of investments that are out there. You can find that in the investing basics section: Here you'll find a short introduction to different types of investments, with links to additional expanded sections. Your investor profile Next, after you have a general idea of where you can invest your money, i've created some investor profiles that may further help figure out what type of investments might be right for you, based on your own situation. For example, if you are a college student or a single mother on a budget, you would have a different profile than a senior citizen looking for a safe place to invest their cash. Different people have different levels of risk they can assume, and that factors in to how you should approach your investment decisions. Anyway you can find that information here: From there, you can navigate through the site where you see something of interest. Thanks for visiting and enjoy your stay! :)
